Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is noted as a mental health situation that occurs due to any terrifying event. Symptoms may involve flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as various thoughts about the event.

  1. Food in general is a comforter for many people. It is when they most have felt of feel like family, so it seems obvious that someone who has been through trauma eats.

    Like anything else though those around need to be supportive in a healthy way to assist and coax the person through. Be an inspiration to all.
