Wuhan University, China
Wuhan University (WHU) is a comprehensive and key national university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the “211 Project” and “985 Project”universities with full support in the construction and development from the central and local government of China.
The history of Wuhan University can be traced back to Ziqiang Institute, which was founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, the then governor of Hubei Province and Hunan Province in the late Qing Dynasty. In the process of development and evolution, the institute changed its name several times before it was finally named Wuhan National University in 1928.
Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, China
Zhejiang Chinese Medical University is located near the south bank of Qianjiang River, in the city of Hangzhou, a world-famous tourist resort known for its beautiful scenery and rich cultural heritage.
In 2001 and 2008, it was awarded “Excellence” on undergraduate education by the Ministry of Education. Two years later, it took the lead among provincial universities in establishing the TCM post-doctor station, and in the same year, the former Zhejiang Jiangong Hospital became its second affiliated hospital. In 2009, the university was authorized to grant doctoral degree in Clinical Medicine and He Ren, the former President of ZCMU, was honored the title of “Master of Chinese Medicine” by the Chinese government.
The university shares 16 SATCM key Specialty and Tertiary Disease Centers, and also 31 provincial key Specialty and Tertiary Disease Centers.
Beijing University of Technology, China
Beijing University of Technology (BJUT) is located at No.100 Pingleyuan, Chaoyang District. The main campus of BJUT covers an area of over 63.97 hectares; in addition there are other 3separate campuses.
Beijing University of Technology was founded in 1960. It is a key university under the administration of the Beijing municipal government, offering multidisciplinary programs in such fields as science, engineering, economics, management, liberal arts and etc. In 1981, BJUT was among the first batch of universities to offer master’s degree programs authorized by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and in 1985 BJUT was further authorized to offer doctorate degree programs as well. In December 1996 BJUT was finally included in “Project 211”, joining the rank of 100 top universities in the 21st century.
